    We went back a second morning in a row on our weekend trip to D.C. their sandwiches are so big you can share with your spouse. And what really brought us back was the friendly staff. A friendly, caring staff really makes the difference in the atmosphere of a place!! Good job Firehook.

    I cannot say enough good things about this bakery. I could make my cup of coffee at home every morning, but I choose to come to this bakery every morning before work because their coffee and pastries are to die for, and I love supporting them! Their staff is so friendly. They get so busy in the mornings, but I have never had to wait. They are efficient and go above and beyond! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

    I’ve only tried their cookies, they’re ok/good. I’ll need to come back and hope their other desserts are better. I really want to love this place!

    Big selections of desserts and drinks. I was only able to order a slice of one type of cake (white chocolate). Good space to get some work done, and the service staff is outstanding.

    It might not look very big, but when you walk towards the restrooms you'll see a lot more seating towards the back. There are also a few tables outside too. I was out being a tourist and desperately needed some coffee. This was the first location that we spotted even though we were looking for a Starbucks. It was the crowd that was drawing me into this place. I wasn't particularly a fan of the iced coffee, as it was weak. However, it did its job. I wanted a little sugar and got one of their chocolate brownies. Brownie was very good and super rich and not too sweet. Very big piece of brownie too. Like diabetes BIG.... Staff were friendly. Prices are average for coffee shops even though it's located super close to all of the political buildings.
